Land Of Rubber Men was formed in the summer of 2014 by two friends Angus Burns and Jack Hand. The pair would then practise in the back bar of ‘The Griffin’ , although not much practising was done there as the pub setting provided the duo with far too many distractions..
The current line-up no longer includes Jack Hand, as his talents were being wasted hiding away in the corner playing bass. There are now two Angus’ in the band, one plays saxophone, one does not. Fraser Ross, Matthew Trainer and an older guy called Daniel make up the five piece. Their debut album is on the horizon, so keep your eyes-peeled and try your best to listen when it comes. However, make sure you listen with low expectation as they are not the sort of band that meet up the night before a gig to decide what to wear.
